Sensory toys are an invaluble way to help babies, toddlers and young children develop, explore and learn about their senses. Sensory toys can help children, teens and adults to relax, focus and calm down while dealing with a specific issue, event or even day to day activities they may find difficult or uncomfortable.
Sensory and fidget toys have also been shown to be beneficial in helping to improve concentration and memory retention skills and increasing focus and engagement in activities.
Other benefits of sensory toys and tools may include reducing anxiety, developing fine motor skills and encouraging language skills. They can also be useful within rehabilitaion programes for some individuals
